As many inspirational people would say, "Pressure makes diamonds." Even if you are just a dirty, tiny chunk of coal, when you go through period of great strain and pressure, you can be a shining and shimmering (splendid) carat of diamond. These people stop telling the story there, but that's not all. Let me tell you a secret...
Diamonds take a billion years to form.
So if you're a chunk of coal aspiring to be a diamond, you better start bracing yourself for billion years of pressure and hardships. All the best things take time. Stars take millions of years to form. Planets, like our dear mother Earth, takes billions. If you want great things, prepare to work hard for a long time, because the good things in life are worth waiting and working hard for. We have to be impatient enough to realize that we need to make more progress, but we also need to be patient enough to wait for our desires to come into fruition.
So to all of you who are working for our dreams day in day out yet aren't seeing any results, bide your time. Keep grinding. Finish what you started. One day, our time will come. One day, we will be diamonds.
